Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Idlebid (“we”, “us”) for using idlebid.com, our browser extension, IDE plugins and command-line tool. By creating an account or using Idlebid you accept them, and our Privacy Policy. If you use Idlebid for a company, you accept them for that company.

1. Accounts

• You must be 18 or older and give us a real email address.
• One account per person. You may link up to 5 devices to it.
• Keep your sign-in email secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.

2. Earning (for people who see the sponsored lines)

• While an AI tool is answering, our apps may show one short line marked “Sponsored - Idlebid”, with a way to dismiss it.
• You earn 50% of what the advertiser pays for each qualified view: at least half of the line visible for at least 5 seconds in a row, in a focused window, at most one per wait and one every 20 seconds per device. Hourly and daily limits per account apply.
• Earnings are held for 30 days before you can withdraw them, so that fraud can be found and advertisers refunded where needed.
• You can request a payout once your available balance is at least USD 10, after giving your tax details. A first payout, and large payouts, are checked by a person first.
• You are responsible for taxes on your earnings in your country.

3. Fair play

You must not:

• use bots, scripts, emulators or anything else to create views or clicks a person did not really see or make;
• run several accounts, share devices or connections to multiply earnings, or use data-centre or proxy connections to hide where you are;
• change, reverse-engineer or bypass our apps, their signed reports or our limits;
• use Idlebid for anything unlawful.

When our systems detect patterns like these, the account's earnings are held while a person reviews it. If we confirm fraud, the affected earnings are cancelled, the advertisers are refunded and we may close the account.

4. Advertising

• Campaigns are prepaid. You choose a bid per 1,000 qualified views; the auction shows the highest bid first, and you pay the second price (never more than your bid).
• Every ad is reviewed. We do not accept ads for gambling, adult content, illegal goods or services, weapons, drugs or unlicensed medicine, get-rich-quick or guaranteed-return schemes, false health claims, or hate and harassment. We may reject or stop any ad, with a reason.
• You are responsible for your ad, your landing page and your right to use any names and logos in them.
• Delivered views are not refundable. If you cancel a campaign, its unspent budget returns to your account as credit for future campaigns. Views later found to be fraud are refunded to you.

5. The Board

• The Board ranks business listings by the points they have bought: USD 1 = 1 point. Ranks change as others buy points; no rank is guaranteed to last.
• Part of every Board payment (shown at checkout, currently 20%) becomes “Boost”: ad views for your listing delivered over the following days. Boost that cannot be delivered in time returns to your account as credit.
• Listings follow the same content rules as ads and must be for a business you own or are allowed to represent.

6. Paying by bank transfer

• At checkout we show the account, the exact amount and a reference. Send that amount with the reference within 24 hours and upload proof of the transfer, or the order is cancelled.
• An order counts only once we have found the money in our account (a screenshot alone is not enough). Board points count from that moment, not from when you sent it.
• If your bank converts the currency or charges a fee, the amount we receive must still match the amount shown.

7. Prices and taxes

Prices are in US dollars. Taxes such as VAT are added where the law requires it and shown before you pay.

8. Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms; where we can, we will tell you why. Available earnings not tied to a breach will still be paid out.

9. Our service

We work to keep Idlebid available and accurate, but it is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee a number of views, earnings or ranks. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us, or we paid you, in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here, and for significant changes tell you by email or in the app before they apply. Continuing to use Idlebid after that means you accept them.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and its courts have jurisdiction, unless the law of the country you live in gives you the right to use its courts.
